I have a Pioneer NEX8100 with Samsung S5, and Android Auto is working nicely. However my S5 screen cracked and it's time for a replacement. I'd like to upgrade, and am considering the LG V10. Since it runs 5.1 it should support Android Auto, but I was wondering if anyone had any particular experience?

Thanks

My V10 takes about 30 seconds to be recognized after being plugged into my 8100. Was slightly irked by this because my Droid Turbo would go into Android Auto mode within seconds of being connected.

I also had issues with BT connectivity but that problem seemed to have worked itself out.

The Android Auto app was also updated last night so I'm curious to see if there's any difference.

I have a LG V10 with Pioneer AVH-X8750 (firmware 1.03)

Occasionally it wont recognize when plugged-in, have to plug in twice to make it work.

I use a local Music app to play music online/offiline, it doesnt support next/previous track through the panel or my steering wheel button, which kinda sucks.

I'll be able to give you an update soon. Also moving from a S5 (VZW edition) to a V10.

I have a Pioneer unit (4100NEX) and I usually have to plug the phone in twice to get it to launch AA. First time I plug it in it just says it's charging. Other that that, it works fine.

Works way better than my VZW Galaxy S5 did. With the LG V10, it just boots up.
In the S5, I had to wait for Verizon's Installer Mode to pass. Enabling USB debugging reduced this time on that phone.
On the V10, there was no need to enable USB debugging.

More details:

If the phone is locked/screen off, the
V10 will go from charging to "connected to a USB accessory", then boot up.

If the phone is unlocked, it will go to "Connected to a USB installer", from which you will have to go to USB options and select MTP before the phone will boot.

Using a VZW V10 (VS990)
