LGE stock init program

Does anybody have any info on the init program in the stock rom? It doesn't seem to match the AOSP code (froyo branch)

I notice that it has hardcoded in there the hpfsinit.rc and hpfwinit.rc filenames. I don't know if they get loaded though. I also see a hardcoded reference to "nand".

from looking at the strings, it looks like it runs these sections
early-init
init
nand (not in AOSP code)
early-boot
boot

you can unpack the boot.img and look at the init.rc from the ramdisk and it'll show you a little more about what's going on, but there's no real info on the proprietary softwares.
