I'm trying to make up my mind about trading in my note 4 for the v10. I hate when I can't makeup my mind...guess I've been with Samsung to long.
Another ? the black or white. I've got note 2 in white and the note 4 is black.
Ok people help me out I would really appreciate everyone's advice. Thanks

If you're not in love with the S Pen, I'd go with the V10. I came from the Note 4 (after trying the Moto X Pure). It was a good phone, but I like the V10 better. That's just my personal opinion, but that's what you asked for. It's faster than the Note 4, doesn't lag, and takes really great photos. Hopefully, it'll be even better whenever they release the Marshmallow update.

Personally, I would keep the note 4 especially if you like the stylus. I only got rid of mine because I switched carriers and needed a new phone. Wish I still had the note 4. The v10 is a good phone, but I loved the note 4. To me it's not worth the extra cost of the v10.

I'd keep the Note 4 until a newer 2016 phone catches your eye. The V10 is already looking like an abandoned phone.

I had the note 4 before and in my opinion the LG v10 is much better.
Although I used the stylus occasionally I kind of felt like I was making myself use it, I didn't really need it as such.
The camera on the LG v10 is leagues ahead of the note 4, lg v10 feels like it's built better, audio quality over bluetooth is way better, probably more so over wire, it's quicker in operation and rarely lags.

I don't regret trading up from the note 4 at all.

Thanks for the reply, really helps to make up my mind. I felt the same way about the S pen but I've got a really good stylus I use on my tablet and now using it on my phone. I really don't miss using the S pen, I still have a note 2 if I get to missing the pen. Lol
I really appreciate everyone's help, usually I don't have this problem, guess I've been with Samsung to long.

I say go for the V10, the Note 5 might make me think harder but the Note 4 is on its last with the Note 6 coming out based on latest reports probably July / Aug based on what pocketnow found. You can try out the V10 and if it works for you keep it if not then you can sell it when the Note 6 comes out. The resale value of the V10 is still very high compared to the note 4 which unlocked new is 390-430 the V10 new unlocked is 590-687.

If the choice is only between V10 and Note4, I'd go V10... way better phone if you're not stuck on the S-Pen... Then again, you can also wait for the Note 6 in a couple of months and decide then...

I thought about waiting for the note 6 but don't know if I want another Samsung, feel like it's time for a change. I heard the note 6 was going to have a 6in screen and I didn't know if I'd like that. The S pen is no big deal anymore.

If you don't download any custom launchers, you might actually like LG's android skin better than Touchwiz (Samsung)

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I've been using Nova for a good while.

I'm in the same boat. Over the past 3 or 4 years I've only owned samsung phones, so I was reluctant to try the LG v10 but I'm so glad I did! I also had the note 5 before the note 4 but had issues with the bluetooth range. The note 4 had a different issue with Bluetooth stuttering so that promoted my decision to switch.
I feel like I've lost confidence in samsung products since having these issues, and don't see myself returning any time soon - haven't been tempted by the s7 and doubt I will be by the note 6 (if it even gets released in the UK).

Thanks, you've helped me make up my mind. I feel it's time for a change as well. I was a little nervous about LG, since I've not had one and that was the old flip phone.

What carrier are you on? I'm with TMO and still waiting for the MM update, but Verizon just started pushing out MM today.

Just ordered my V10, but I'm keeping my Note 4 close by. I don't get why this phone isn't getting more hype. All reviews and videos I've viewed has this phone as a beast.....guess I'll have to find out for myself....
