I can't seem to boot into CWM Recovery. Everytime I try to boot to recovery mode, I just get a black screen after the "M" (motorola) logo disappears

Anyone having the same problem or can provide a fix for me?
I've tried using DX Bootstrapper and ROM Manager to boot to recovery

Use the Droid 2 bootstrapper. If that still does not work you can plug your phone into the charger, remove the battery, replace battery and wait for charging battery, then power on, it should go straight into recovery.
