I like the sounds of the upgrades to the lenses, being f1.6 for the primary and 16mp camera. And the video features with touch to zoom in on the point you selected is very cool. If this phone shoots pics close to the level of my Pixel or a S8 in terms of a faster shutter to capture quick objects or decent low light than I'll be very interested. Look forward to reviews.

Someone at xda ported the Google camera app from the pixel phones and it includes zero shutter lag and auto hdr. Surprisingly everything is working well and it's almost instant shutter on my v20. Lens blur effect is pretty cool too. Might be an option if the v30 is still slow in low light.

That slow shutter and blur were the downfall for both my V20 and G6. if this seems to rectify that I'll likely give it a serious look.
