I have used a Palmpilot, PalmV, Treo600 and PalmPre over the past 20 years, so it is very hard to give up on the Palm platform, but when ePocrates medical software gave up, so did I.
After 3 days with my new Samsung Charge, i am finally starting to get the hang of these customized home screens and the overwhelming number of free apps available! I may even start to like Swype more than my PalmPre keyboard soon! I feel like there is so much customization available without rooting (my PalmPre was rooted with PreWare homebrew tweaks), I may not try rooting the Charge for awhile.
I hope the AndroidCentral forums are as helpful as the PreCentral forums were!
