Sounds like, for some reason, the main account (you) has control of these devices but not the secondary accounts (you wife's). I would try logging into your wife's account on your Note 10. If this is the reason, then you will still see the same 'issue' on your Note since it's now on her account (or viceversa, log into your account on hers and then it should work).
Like Almeuit said, maybe you need to grant control or add the devices to her account as well. I've only used these with smart speakers so anyone can control the devices from there, but that's using my account.
