Lightflow updated their app for the SG3. They said you have to be rooted but it fixes the led problem

excelent. wish they would add a feature to use a string of different coloured led for notifications though. i mailed the dev' ages ago but no response :(

it works fine on the international (i actualy read the instructions for Go Sms this time lol) know its no consolation for my US bros and sisters though :(

Very misleading post.......

Still doesn't work completely right. When you turn your screen off there is a low lit green led that pops up

Can anyone else confirm? Nothing mentioned in the Play Store comments and the Folio Flow website seems to be down at the moment.

I signed up to receive updates from the developer. His email today stated that the app still needs work but works for rooted GS3.

I have my rooted AT&T S3 and the paid version of Lightflow and it works perfectly for me. No problems.

same on un-rooted international. i checked for that feint green in the dark lol but nothing

The S III / Light Flow problem has always been specific to the Snapdragon S4/LTE North American models - the international model was always working fine.

If you get the faint green light make sure you've checked the root option for s3 in the settings menu.

@funkylogik - apologies if I didn't reply, I try to reply to all e-mails. Do you mean "disco colors"? It's something I plan to look into, but think it'll probably kill the battery as every color change needs the phone to be partially awake to run the code and in doing so has an impact on the battery. It's ok for cycling notifications every couple of seconds, but to be doing it rapidly for one notification will probably make a significant hit on the battery.

hey Andrew :) yeah id only really use that option sometimes to show off lol. thanks for the reply man. ps, how about lights that fade in and out instead of just on/off? would that be a big battery drain too?
