Lightflow without root?

I've been seeing on the light flow website that most HTC devices require root to run the app. Does anyone have it working without having rooted their evo?

I tried it (twice) without rooting. It totally freezes the device if you have it set to work with messages and sms. I wanted it to use the phone as my pager. It's terrible on the EVOLTE. I use Easy Reminder instead. The repeat function works great and no freezes or problems with Sense. But the LED still blinks, only just the green.
