basic user of highly capable device ... can't figure out how to resize text on gmail for easier readability. good device that is faster than predecessor with physical keyboard. battery not great but acceptable ... live and work in fringe area. good news bad news on the "less friction" of the protective cover. easier to put in pocket but slides off of surfaces not flat/horizontal.

Most devices you should be able to, once you are in the gmail application hit menu>more>settings>your email>message text size.
