Sorry if this has been gone over a dozen times before. Im not getting any more space on my phone by using link2 sd than i would if i just use the built in app2sd method. I creat the links but i dont get any added storage. i keep reading things about people saying they use link2sd so they have pretty much unlimited storage, but it aint working like that for me. I'm on jerrys newest Backside IHO build is there something im not doing right for this rom.

Explain in detail how you're setting up link2sd and we could help you better but with what you said here goes. After you install a rom and gapps you partition you're SD card then you boot up you're phone install link to SD and titanium backup then you open up link2sd and pick extention 3 then reboot the phone and when it reboots you open links2sd and go to settings and turn on auto link then you open titanium backup and it will install every app on you're SD card. I have 220 apps and my internal storage is 160 megs or so. Good luck.

I partitioned my card with mini tool ext 4. I install rom and gapps then when the phone starts i install titatnium backup and link 2 sd, then i go in to link to sd and manually creat the links for the apps to the sd card. Im going to do a fresh install with my rom and do it the way you say, I only have 18 apps installed and have 120 megs of storage left. Thanks for the help

Partition your SD card with your recovery. And also use IHO recovery or aosp recovery.

should i just format my card first and start fresh seeing as it already has a partition. oh and im using clowork 3.2.01 recovery it that matters any

I would format it although when you go through the different options in recovery, assuming you do them all, it will format sd-ext anyway. Also remember that different recoveries create different ext. Not sure what 3.2.0.1 creates, I believe it's ext3 but I know that IHO creates ext4.
