Linking Contacts with Gingerbread Update?

Hello..... I am have a problem.. It seems we have lost the "Link Contact" feature with the new Gingerbread update.. I cannot figure out how to link my contacts anymore. Did this feature get thrown in the trash with the new update or am i doing something wrong? HELP I don't like having multiple contacts.. Thanks guys.

open a contact and press menu>edit contact>menu>join contact, and choose which contact(s) you want to link
