Links in Facebook! Help!

Recently now whenever I tap a link in Facebook for an article or video it no longer gives me the option to open it in a browser or app. It takes me straight into the app or if I don't have the app installed it takes me to its Google Play page for me to install it! I don't wanna install it if I don't already have it though. I'm confused as to why this is happening. I never changed any settings or anything. Somebody help please.

That's also how it works on my phone and tablet. It must be a Facebook thing, not your device.
