List of Problems with the Nexus 7

I've written up the problems I have with the Nexus 7 after using it for just a few days. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone found the same annoyances as me and if there are fixes or why these problems exist.

I read your article and you don't need to root in order to get landscape on the Nexus 7 desktop/home screen. There are various 3rd party apps in the Playstore that will achieve this.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look for those apps. I find it interesting that Google didn't just enable automatic home screen orientation by default.

I'm also at a loss as to why they didn't include a screen portrait landscape toggle either. I guess It's one of those "DUH!!" moments Google had when creating Jellybean/Nexus 7.

You don't actually have any complaints about the Nexus7 device just the software on it. This is an early run of Jelly Bean and will likely change because of the common opinion of these flaws. Just give it time and offer the feedback to Google so they can weight it with the rest. Without root you will not have many opinions other than adding bloatware to fix any of the issues.
