I'm trying to learn if I should attempt to root my phone or wait for updates from HTC. I'd like to know what the members of the Forum think. I've heard that the processor speed will be improved and many of the phones shortcomings will be upgraded.

there are all kinds of great features you can enable by using custom roms. for instance Beats Audio from the Sensation XE, XL and the Rezound. Also get sense 3.5 instead of 3.0
