lite upgrade ROM for my asus zenpad 3s tablet

I have this old tablet asus zenpad 3s Z500M running Android 7. I use it for reading olny and browsing or watching small clips however it become very slow and I am worried that it stopped receiving any security updates

So I want to ask if there is a compatible rom can upgrade Android and make the tablet more responsive ?
