Live video games streams with MLB.TV does work (kind of) with 2.2. The video is slow but the audio does work.Kind of Cool.

Just like I do on my computer.I went to watch mlb.tv on mlb.com. You do have to subscribe to mlb.tv.

Maybe next season we will have live video games in the mlb application like the iphone app.
That would be sweet. But in the meantime using flash in froyo is better than nothing.

can you actually watch the live game or just the highlights? i wanted to subscribe in the beginning of the season but didnt because 2.1 didnt support flash. but now with 2.2 i was hoping that i could watch the live games.:p

I've tried this cause I pay for the mlb.tv season pass. First of all, you have to be on WiFi (or 4G?). You log in at mlb.tv and then it'll launch the flash player. Takes a little while to load up and seems sluggish. Audio comes through fine without hiccups, but the video leaves a lot to be desired. We're talking maybe 2-3 frames per second.

I've noticed that most flash apps seems herky jerky, so there's hope that as Adobe optimizes Flash for android, things might get better.

But I can confirm that this definitely "works".
