Live wallpaper lag

Anyone else notice a significant increase in the amount of scrolling lag when scrolling through apps with a live wallpaper enabled?

I'm using the Nexus live wall and scrolling through the app drawer feels like it did on the palm pre, very choppy and low fps. Is this simply unavoidable? I like the look of the nexus wall but its not worth the lag.

I'm using the sense UI launcher too, just for clarification.

nexus live wallpaper is known to lag phones, I've done some testing and theres more lag, clicking on apps, multi-touch, switching windows, scrolling, with N1 live wallpaper versus the Leaf water drop one I'm currently using.

Yeah I had noticed the other live wallpaper weren't as bad. I also tried the nexus mod wallpaper with similar results. I take it there's no fix for this?

I noticed that on a lot of the live wallpapers. It's not all of them though.

The maps live wallpaper has frozen my EVO a couple of times so I quit using it

I never used the nexus wallpaper long enough to notice... i only used the stock grass live wallpaper and starstream and no issues or increased lag here
