live wallpapers

Is anyone else having trouble with live wallpapers? They keep turning off and going back to the old static image. It happened 5 or 6 times now.

The cool thing is that i dictated this Post with voice to text. It really works pretty well.

No, no task killer. I have astro but it's not running all the time.

I've had no issues with 2.1/Helix/live wallpapers/beautiful widgets combo.

I installed 2.1 manually, was not rooted before ....

and voice to text is impressive .... i like how they censor curse words, lol!

Yeah I've had a reboot since the update. I did it manually too. Still having the problem though.

i think it depends on the wallpaper. the ones i have used so far always work. no problems.

I see this happen when I get a popup from Handcent, it does not happen everytime but it seems it happens with it, is anyone else else having this problem also using handcent with the popup feature? I think I am going to try and uninstall it and reinstall it and see if it helps out or just leave it uninstalled for a day to see if it is the problem.

my favorite live wallpaper was "waterpaper" -- but, I quit using it because it was having the same problem you described.

It would work for almost a whole day, then start wigging out. I'd get a half black screen on wake up a few times, then laggy home, then it'd just stop doing the live wallpaper and go with a static image.

I never got a force close - just quit working. I thought the issue was system related and not tied to the app (since I had no fc). Well, I quit using waterpaper and switched to other live wallpapers and ... viola, no problem. so, if you're getting weird issues - just switch to a new wallpaper.

by the way, I'm rooted and flashed a rom, and overclocked, and all of that ... so, my issue may be different from yours.

Neural network, smoke, and water have all crashed on me. I do have handcent, I wonder if that's the problem. Let me know if the uninstall/reinstall works.

I have the issue with starfield or whatever it is called stock ones work fine for me

Oh how I wish that I could use the NexusMod one, I wish that dev would update, he'd prob make a killing from it.
