so i got a 32gb (well 29.2 when i read it after format) and loaded everything on my 16gb card to it so i can have more music..

now i spent the time to load up mp3s many times but the same issue happens:

1: load 11gigs of mp3s to the card like i used to do with the 16gb card
2: unmount card to load it into EVO
3:wait a few moments for the evo to read card...
4: open music player (stock one)
5: look at list of music and i find 10 BANDS that i loaded out of the usual 115 cds....
6: it shows about total 215 songs when theres 2563 songs...
7: load the card back up to my computer to find all the space used properly but then all the folders remain in the music folder BUT the songs are GONE...

but the files size space remains 17gigs of 29 gigs used...

what gives? why does my evo i guess not see the rest then super hides the files/deletes em??? and yet the card doesnt decrease in size?

thanks!

If this is a cheap sd card from ebay, it is probably a 4 gb card that's been rigged to look like a 32 gb card and that's why your files don't show up.

(by which i meant, that sucks... i did buy a 32 gb off ebay from florida... for like 27$... thought it was good deal)

Did you look at the very last band called 'unknown'? Lol my girl put about 6 albums in the music folder and kept saying the songs where gone. Then I looked thru her list on songs and at the very bottom it has unknown so I clicked it and there's all her other songs. If the artist and song tags are not set up right then the music player will put them under unknown. It might help but it might be your card also.

Once you start dipping under $100, the more likely it gets that the 32GB SD card you bought is counterfeit. As you get under $50, you're basically asking for trouble. Under $30? 99.999999% guaranteed that it's counterfeit.
