Location Based Reminders Not Working

So I recently upgraded from a Moto X to a Samsung Galaxy S6. On my Moto X I used the standard Google Now location-based reminders all the time without ever having an issue. Since I switched to the S6...it nearly never works correctly. Most often the reminder never goes off at all...and on rare occasions it will go off hours after I've arrived somewhere or it wont go off untils I'm fiddling around in google now and re-save the reminder...I have WiFi enabled and it auto-connects to my home WiFi and when I'm at home, if I open the Maps app, it show's that I'm at "home". Any thoughts?
