Location: Locating method

I usually have my location method set to battery saving. But, stupid weather widget keeps asking me to set it to high accuracy for better location. So my question is does high accuracy use alot of battery or is it better to keep it on battery saving and put up with it not getting exact location and giving me the stupid pop up? I'm using the one that came with the phone the weather channel.

I would think it would definitely use more but no idea how much more. Maybe try setting it one way for 4 hours one day and the next, set it the other way and take note of how much more battery drain you have.

Thanks. I'll try that. I wonder if all weather widget apps will annoy me with the pops up about high accuracy?

I use Weather Underground. No complaints from it, but I specify a fixed location.

Most weather apps won't bother you about location if you specify a fixed location.
