My wife dropped her LG v20 down to ceramic tiled floor. Broke the screen (that I can see).
I took it apart, bought eBay a new screen ($45), replaced it. After that, I could see what's being displayed. It had booted up, cameras worked. Long enough for me to retrieve contacts and messages through "Backup and Restore" app, to a Google account.
Since then, it would freeze, hung in Lalaland. Had to reboot many times.
Now, I have trouble booting up and it won't see WiFi signal at all. One possibility is that there is more damage than the screen. So the phone is fairly toasted, and I am using it to learn. A whole lot of engineering going on in this thing.
Having opened it up and put it back together many times, I may have damage contacts.
So I've been researching about antennae location for Wifi, and can't find any specific.
One poster vaguely mentioned that it is near the speaker at the bottom.
Please leave a few word to point out specific location. Pics is great !!! IF you can help out.
