location unavailable

Most of the time when I open my browser I have it on the Google home page. But half the time I says "location unavailable, update"

Why doesn't it know where I am already? Does gps need to always be on?

You need to have "Location On". and if you want it to automatically update, you need to have Auto-sync checked. (Settings > Accounts & Sync)

So let me get this straight. If I want my location i need location turned on....... haha my bad. Never put the two together. Other than the bookmarks bein funny I'm happy.

Location Unavailable

I have location checked and auto sync checked and I still get location unavailable on the Google home page. Any ideas? I have a DInc running Froyo
