Lock screen background

I got the nexus s 4g about a week ago. I was wondering is there any way to change the back ground of the lock screen?

I would like to customize it differently than my home screen.

I believe there are some widget apps that can change the lockscreen background.

Otherwise there are some options with certain custom ROMs if you root your device to change the lockscreen background.
