Lock screen blank

Marshmallow renewed my love for the LG G3. Well love is a strong word... Anyway the only issue im having is when i knock the screen turns on but its all black other than the notification bar. I still can put in my pattern to unlock tho. Doing a factory reset tonight. Anyone else having this bug?

After updating all my apps this went away.

I'm having this problem since upgrading to Marshmallow. Before it goes black, the first sign is that the unlock pattern doesn't show while I'm swiping it, although it works. Usually i just restart the phone which clears it. If I don't restart it, shortly after it goes black. Don't feel like going through a factory reset. You mentioned updating apps helped, did you also do the factory reset? Are you still free of the problem?
