lock screen is broken?

So my lock screen was acting up during school today. when i clicked it it would go straight to power off options. flicker on and off a few times. and eventually just stopped responding. any ideas? should i just go to the verizon store? battery pulls, safe mode and what not have been attempted. no luck

See if widget locker works, if so a factory reset could fix the issue.
