Within the last couple of days, shortcuts on my lockscreen are no longer showing up and neither are notifications for texts or missed calls that you can swipe and go directly to.
At the same time there must have been some kind of minor update to the OS as notifications for texts and e-mails in the notifications bar are now showing multi-line previews and are much bigger, i.e. I can read the first 3 lines of an e-mail rather than just half the first line as it takes up about 20% of the notification screen now.
There was no system update that I was made aware of and installed that I can point a finger at for these changes. There was one about 3 or 4 weeks ago that updated to Android 4.1.1. I'm running Sense 4+.
Have done the obvious things like checked settings etc. but option for 'Show lock screen short cuts' is ticked and should be working.
Anyone else having this problem or have a solution?? A factory reset would be last resort.
