Lock screen notifications

I have converted from the iPhone to the Galaxy S3 and absolutely love it. I do miss notifications on the lock screen however, I use Go SMS Pro for messaging and was wondering if there is any way to have text messages displayed on the lock screen? Also, how do you place the PlayerPro widget on the lock screen?

For PlayerPro, go into the app settings and go to "Lock Screen" then "Widget" and set it up.

As to messages on the lock screen I don't think Go sms does that. Handcent does though.

I, too, am missing the ability to get all missed notifications on the lock screen. But whatever. Maybe there is a tweak to gain the feature. Still loving the phone regardless though.

I think with WidgetLocker you get some control in this area to put different things on the lockscreen.

Try whatsup app...It puts messages right on lock screen for you to reply from lock screen.

I'm trying to get Gmail notifications on lock screen but not successful so far.
