Lock screen notifications

I'm honestly not sure if this is a marshmallow issue or a S7 edge issue since my last phone was operating lollipop but I seem to of lost all of my lock screen notifications. I do have it set under settings to show all content. I do have all apps set to "on" just for arguments sake, even though I really only want to get notifications on two or three apps, and I understand that these notifications will not show up on the "always on" display, but when I click the home screen button from the "external" display and go to the lock screen, none of my notifications are showing up there. Ideas?
