Anyone else have this issue?

When I first booted up the phone the Now Bar was there. Then it just randomly disappeared. Poof. Gone.

I did a full factory reset and it came back, then 5 minutes later, gone again. I've checked all the settings, etc.

Anyone else seeing this issue? If so, any fix?

Thanks!

The Now Brief isn't always showing, especially if you have read it already or the notification dismissed. If Maps and Spotify work, the Now Bar isn't gone, it's just got nothing to show at the moment.

I really hope they expand this in the near future... it's a nice feature, but the current selection of what it can do/pull it's very limited.

The only issue I had was for some reason Google didn't update the score of any NBA games last night, so my Now Bar wasn't showing the live score. We'll see if it works for the next game.

I've heard that before (since I follow zero sports I've never tested that), but from the posts I've seen about that, the common denominator is that it just suddenly starts working out of the blue for teams you either follow or search about.

I follow two NBA teams, the Warriors and the Trail Blazers, and it always shows live scores for me without any issues.

Even yesterday's Warriors vs. Hornets game live scores showed up on the Now bar with no issues.

It is already showing today's upcoming game, for example. One thing: I never dismiss the "Now bar" notification until the game is over.

Not getting any scores at all. I'm not sure what people mean when it says you have to the app open for it to show up on the Now Bar. The settings are for Google Sports but there is no Google Sports "app" that I'm aware of. Might be missing something...

How it should work: Follow teams on your Google Feed or search for specific teams/games in the Google app and those should appear automagically on the Now Bar.

How it's really going: WTF. It works for some, it doesn't for others (and then it just starts working out of the blue, like the below).

@SpookDroid , you nailed this. From the AI overview of a Google search for "sports teams I follow not on galaxy now bar": "Several users have reported similar issues, and there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try. [...The usual blah blah....] If the issue persists, try restarting your phone or updating your Google app.... If these steps don't resolve the problem, you may need to wait for a software update or contact Samsung support for further assistance." Bottom line: both Google and Samsung know about it, one or the other may eventually fix it, don't hold your breath. I'm not even getting notification-area score updates from Google, so my guess is it's on them.

There was an update to the S25U recently that fixed a few of the broken items on the Now Bar (i.e. Media player not displaying on the notification bar/notification pull down), so maybe they fixed this? (Again, I don't follow sports so can't confirm... but I'm still, to this day, getting San Diego Pedros scores because I looked it up once. ONCE!)

I'm on an older S23 Ultra, no recent updates since the Android 15/One UI 3 weeks ago. Trying to emulate your misfortune ;), I Googled Atlanta Braves, but nothing. All I can do is wait for randomness to favor me.

I believe you have to actually follow them thru Google for it to work? If you Google "Atlanta Braves", at the top of the results you should see a "Follow" button. Try doing that. The only sports scores I see in the Now Bar are teams that I have followed thru Google.
