Lock screen rings SYNERGY

Is there a possible way of changing the lock ring without changing your recovery image? I know for a fact there is because i did it last week just screwing around, but then i had to do a nand flash and restore so i lost it. And i forgot how to do it.

help please?

If I understand right, you want to change the ring on the Sense 3 lockscreen? Here's a list of rings Drob put together, they are flashed in recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1145705
