Lock screen shakes

Hi everyone,

I'm a proud owner of an S5 for almost a month now and it's an awesome device, the only thing is the lockscreen momentarily shakes or vibrates as I swipe, I don't remember this happening before has anyone else experienced this?

Anyone know what it can be?

It sounds like you have an unlock animation. Check your lock screen settings and see if any of the animations are enabled.

I don't see animations on the lock screen settings but I do have animations turned off in developer mode, and this only happens with the popping colours swipe screen option

It's not a huge deal it's just I find it strange and I don't think it's supposed to do that

Popping colors swipe screen is an animation. Do you have the heptic feedback and vibrate on keypress turned off?

I have ever both haptic feedback and vibrate on press turned on

That could be why you are getting that. Turn off heptic feedback and see if that stops it.

I turned it all off still does it, kinda strange I know I didn't see that before just seemed to happen lately

Well the vibrate would be the next thing to try and turn off.

Then I would call Samsung technical support.
