Not using the stock weather widget.
That's incorrectIf you're not using the stock weather widget, then your lock screen won't update. Google and/or Samsung helpfully took that useful bit of customization away in an effort to force everyone to use what THEY want you to use. Wow... so glad their not like Apple. Oh. Wait...
That's incorrect
I see. Well... if you have a unrooted phone, it turns out that it's NOT incorrect. You don't have to be displaying the widget, but you DO have to use the built in weather app that google wants you to use.
Now, if you feel my information is incorrect, that's fine. Please provide explicit directions for using something else to update the stock lockscreen because I'd LOVE to be using 1Weather instead of whatever google provides.
The reason I know it's incorrect is because it does update. Just periodically stops. After reboot its all good again. Just very annoying. I'm starting to see that Android phones require reboots often to keep things in check. Funny how these little quirks don't make into Samsung commercials lol next best thing. Whatever.
