I'm coming from an iPhone where I can select about 50 pictures that cycle through every time I unlock the phone. Is the fold 6 capable of this?

Yes, it can. You can also have a gif or small video on lock screen.

Yes but you have to use good lock if you want a picture to cycle like that

You don't need Goodlock for it. You can select multiple photos (up to 15) and set as wallpaper for lock screen.
