Lock / Unlock S4

After an hour of inactivity, my phone normally locks and i have to put in a password to unlock it again. Last night, i put it on the charger and when i woke up this morning, it was still unlocked. Has this happened to anyone before ? Why does it happen ?

Ensure your lock settings are still setup properly.
