Locked Comments Are Annoying

Good, bad, or indifferent, it would be nice if all posts had comments enabled. We are a community. Locking threads from the get-go is a giant turn off for me. Criticism, open dialogue and support should be welcomed and encouraged.

I assume you're talking on the blog side? If you mean the forum side would you be able to give an example of what you mean?
