I can get a blue 512GB unlocked at my local Best Buy today, or wait for the Verizon version that I pre-ordered on 8/14. Trying to figure the positives of an unlocked device, or if unlocked are more problematic with Verizon, since CDMA.

The Best Buy Verizon one might be a while, since no Verizon 512 were shipped yet to my two local BB's. Apparently Verizon is getting them first, until their own pre-orders are covered.....

Wonder how the support is for unlocked verses carrier locked? Also firmware updates....

Not sure if it's changed this time, but the carrier versions are getting updates faster than the unlocked US model for some reason.

WiFi calling won't work on Verizon if you get the unlocked version. Not sure if that's something you use or not.

Yeah, thinking of waiting for the Verizon one.

Apparently the unlocked N9 does not have CDMA support. That, or there are two unlocked 845 Note 9 versions available.
