Hey guys,

In a drunken stupor I changed my password on my Galaxy S5. I did not have alternate entry set up. I have tried to reset my phone by holding down the volume, power and menu button at the same time, as described in my user manual. This has resulted in the black and green 'screen of death'. My phone now has an image of the android 'android', along with some concerning looking text in the top right (have not seen anything like it since the 90's when you had to type all sorts of codes to be able to use a computer!!).

I'm not very technology experience, and my phone provider have been unable to assist me. Any advice or ideas is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Miss B:-*

if you had your device setup for unlocking in your Google Play account you can do it that way, through Android device manager

You can also try taking the phone into your carrier's store. They may be able to perform some voodoo.
