locked out please help

I just got my htc one max today and decided to use the finger scanner to unlock the phone. It does not work and now it is saying my password is incorrect! What can i do??? I cant even hard rest it because i have the fast boot turned on.

If you're referring to the option under "Battery Manager" (or Power) that won't prevent you from booting into the bootloader and going to the recovery.

Vol Down + Power for about 10 seconds should get you there.

You should have been asked to make an alternate password incase this happens

i did make a recovery password but it is saying it is incorrect...im going to take it in today

I have tried and it only restarts.......usb debugging is off as well so cant plug it in either....I just wanted to avoid going to the store of purchase which is 45 min away but looks like I have to
