Locked out

[AC Question]

My boyfriend set a swipe password on his phone and then couldnt remember what it was. I tried un locking it with the find my mobile and it wouldn't connect to the network to even set a new password to get into his phone. Then I tried android device manager and locked hos phone using his account on my phone and now his phone still is asking for a swipe password and ADM is only allowing me to pick hos phone not even given the option to change his password like it shows in some of the options. He had a galaxy note 5 and right now his phone is completely locked and i cannot get neither ways to reset his password. Please help me!!!!

He must use his own ADM acct, to unlock his phone..!
