Locks up, screen turns off, can't turn phone on without a battery pull

This has happened a few times. Basically i'll be doing something, the phone will lock up. After a little bit the screen turns off. I hit the top button...nothing

Hold the top button...nothing

i have to reseat battery and then it powers on fine

I had this happen a few times. Not sure what causes it. It sucks but the battery being pulled works.

wouldn't advise replacing? or you don't think it would matter?

Have you loaded any apps lately, how about some files like pics, videos, or music?

A bad app, or software conflict could cause your problems. Uninstalling the offending app is your best bet, then if that fails, a Factory Data Reset is in order.

For a bad file, you would move your files off your sd card to your computer, reformat the sd card, then start by moving your essential files and folders to your card and test. Keep moving files and testing till you find a bad file, or you have moved back everything you want. You may not find a bad file if all that was wrong with your card was a bad filesystem (FAT, File Allocation Table).
