LOG file

anybody know how to access the error log file on the device?

/dev/log ? it has events, main and radio logs stored there.

argh..can't find the folder using astro file manager.....

After opening the Manager, select "Up" / parent directory icon at the top. dev should then be visable.

I kept hitting home....
I even tried through the pc but they don't show up...duh...

Found them, but they are all empty...bummer

Not sure about the other File managers, but in File Manager by Apollo Software (Adao) when you open it it starts in the root of the sdcard (/sdcard). Pressing the parent Directory Icon takes you to / Then you can see dev and subsequently logs.

Try downlaoding it.

In File manager the Parent Directory is the second one, next to the Home Icon on the far left.

thanks...got to the folder, just that it says there is nothing in the files...wonder if it is something that has to be turned on like BB.....

tried FM...slower than Astro, but nice.

Same thing...all three db's in the log directory are 0b.....

hmmm. I just looked again and saw that mine are 0 bytes too. Sorry, I should have noticed that earlier. Perhaps debug mode? I'm taking a SWAG.
