Logging in to new wifi

This is a very basic question!

I am connected to a wifi which requires a code.

I connect and fire up chrome. The log in page appears, and requires a code entering into the box.

My problem is - how do I type the code into the box?

It's voice activated. Just speak out the letters and numbers aloud very slowly...Just kidding, just touch the blank field and the keyboard will appear.

Plus with my big fist I couldn't see what I was doing
Got myself a stylus, all better now !
