Logitech bluetooth keyboard/case

When I am using the bluetooth keyboard a palette of additional characters will pop up on the galaxy screen as I am typing and I don't know why. I thought my keyboard was defective and got a replacement but the new one is doing the same thing. I also have the white Samsung keyboard and it doesn't do it with it. So what's up with this? It is very annoying.
I haven't done anything other than pair it up. Nothing needed as far as setting it up to use. I really like it but this little annoyance is really ANNOYING LOL.

I'm thinking it could be the keyboard itself because after reading your post I tried my friends hp touchpad bluetooth keyboard and it worked just fine. Some bluetooth keyboards dont play well with some tablets
