lollipop 5.1 update

I'm curious about the lollipop 5.1 update wanted to get some feedback on how it has affected (good or bad) the flex 2. I've had mine from sprint for about a week and it is still on 5.0.1. So far I have held out on installing the update because of past experience of poor battery life and so on. I know the issues accompanied with updates are hit or miss, but I still wanted to get some time feedback anyway. So far I love the phone and my only two issues are with the battery life with 2hr and 45mins SOT on a 12-13 hour day. The other concern is how hot the back of the phone gets, I can feel the heat through my otter box defender case and the temps has been as high as 106 degrees according to GSAM and the stats in the sprint zone app and this is just from checking out the Facebook feed. I'm not too worried about the heating up thing because I don't spend much time on the phone, by the time it starts to heat up I'm already done with my business, but barely making it through my workday is an issue. So what's you guys experience with 5.1? should I stay put or take a gamble? Thank you in advance for any feedback/opinion.

Definitely worth it. The heating issues basically are gone. Basically same battery life. Very responsive.

Totally worth it much better with 5.1.

ANDROID 6.0 will be da bomb with this phone!

Just received my unlocked ATT LG Flex 2 today. It came with 5.01, how do I get updated to 5.1?

I contacted ATT and they were able to push the update.
