I have the US TMo variant of the Z3, and I mostly love the Lollipop update but one small thing that bugs me is that when I call someone their contact picture doesn't display on the screen. Instead I just get the generic picture of the outline of a human being. Haa this happened to anyone else?

You will probably have to go in to your contacts and un merge your contact. Once you do that select the contact version with the picture and then combine it back with all the other ones.

I noticed if there's 2 or more pictures associated with a contact this happens. Go to your phone book, edit and click the photo of your contact. It will open another screen and if there's more than 1 pic delete them until you have 1.

It's fixed the issue for me anyways.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate your responses! This forum seems kinda dead, so I was excited to see that 2 people had responded.

Anyway I checked in the contacts app and I can't see where there's more than one photo. All of my contacts come from Google and show the image I have saved there.

The funny thing is that the contract image shows when my phone is ringing. But once I answer a call the screen switches to the generic picture instead. I wonder if I just need to reset my phone or something.

I noticed that my M9 defaults to the sim card entry and that entry has no photo. I've just been making sure I have the number saved in my google contacts, and erasing the number from my sim card.
