So after having a look on my freshly updated Moto G I cropped up on something quite interesting and whether anyone else on Lollipop found this.

You can reboot your phone from the power off prompt by simply holding 'Power off' for a couple of seconds. However it prompts you to 'Reboot in safe mode'.

I find it not very secure.

Anyone get the same?

Not to sure what you mean by secure.

To power off it just needs a quick tap, if you want to reboot in safe mode THEN you hold it down for a couple of seconds and select the safe option.

Exactly. Not all phones have an actual Reboot command in the Power Off menu. For example, the HTC One M8 does, but the Nexus 5 doesn't. If you want to reboot, you simply power off, then power back on again. Rebooting into Safe Mode is a specific action to take if you're trying to troubleshoot problems, by disabling all 3rd party apps upon reboot.
