Lollipop - Slow internet

I downloaded Lollipop and everything is running good but anything with the internet is running very slow. Reminds me of the old dial up days. Is anyone else having this issue or know of a fix? Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Is that on both wi-fi and mobile data?

I'd suggest a cache partition wipe, which can be helpful after system update--but that's not possible on an unrooted G2.

The slow internet is on both Wi-Fi and non Wi-Fi. Any suggestions?

Does that happen on multiple browsers? Which ones have you tried so far?

Your browser might be a problem. Such problems also occur if it is affected by virus.

Viruses are much less common than people tend to think on Android.

In another topic, it was recommended to perform a hard reset ( all 3 buttons on the back of the phone) and it definitely helped the slow internet.

You're welcome--but do you have a G2, and were you able to wipe the cache partition? I didn't think that was possible on that phone (unless you're talking about wiping the app caches, which is different).
