lollipop udate ? will it ever come ?

Been reading in many places that LG devices will be supported the lollipop update and they list among them our beloved G pad 8.3

when i purchased the tablet ( in spain ) it comes with 4.2 and 2 weeks later i received a notification to updated to 4.4 kitkat. that was great, and now i wander if will happen the same with lollipop.

I wonder as LG stops now manufacturing for Google, also i have the LG version with i guess needs more implementation from LG itself,

I have the Google Play edition, and my dad has the stock LG edition, and we're both expecting a bump to Lollipop before the end of the year. It won't break our hearts if we don't get it. It is still an outstanding tablet for music, movies, and getting work done. But I'd like to think that LG takes care of it's products, like ASUS does (the Transformer series). The only phone LG has left behind in the last two years was the Optimus G (G1). I felt that deserved Kit Kat for Android Wear compatibility. It never came. So I'm remaining hopeful.

I'm hoping to get it on my Verizon LTE version. I know, I shouldn't hold my breath, but I do have hope since Verizon seems to be much better with quick updates over the past year.

I hope we do see this update. I'm pretty pleased with the g pad as it is but it would be nice not to get left behind. It would also be nice if LG could roll out a new kernel with any future software update that would fix the gamma issue. Won't be the end of the world if they don't but it would improve the movie watching experience no end.

Yeah it would be nice, I was was sick of KitKat so I rooted and installed twrp and am back on 4.2.2 JB
